  • Bathing and brushing on a consistent schedule removes dead and damaged hair, detangles the coat, and helps to release and distribute your dog's natural oils. Regular grooming also prevents mats from forming or shedding hair from building up. Mats are tangles that build up so much they pull constantly at the skin, cause pain, and can even cut off circulation. I use products thoughtfully chosen for your dog's specific skin and coat type to keep them looking and feeling their best, from their coat and skin down to their nails and ears.

Groomers also have the advantage of working closely with your dog's whole body during every appointment. That gives us a unique opportunity to spot potential health concerns - like skin or ear infections, or unusual lumps and bumps - sometimes even before pet parents notice anything is off.

Grooming is more than just cosmetic upkeep - it is necessary maintenance for your dog’s skin, coat, ear, and nail health.

  • At The Bubbly Puppy Luxury Grooming Co., your dog isn't just another appointment on a busy schedule. As a one-on-one groomer, I work with only one family at a time, allowing me to provide a calm, personalized experience shaped to your dog's specific needs.

Unlike many traditional salons where multiple dogs are groomed simultaneously, your dog receives my full attention from start to finish. This can reduce stress, minimize distractions, and allows me to move at a pace that keeps your dog comfortable and confident throughout the grooming process.

Here, your dog will receive special touches that will help them feel at ease. From dog-friendly aromatherapy to a head & facial massage to a warmed up towel and dryer hat, each step in the grooming process is designed to be as soothing as possible.

While I take pride in crafting a beautiful finish, I believe grooming should be about more than just how your dog looks when they leave - it should be a positive experience that helps build trust over time. Whether your dog is a puppy, senior, nervous, or simply prefers a quieter environment, I take the time to listen and communicate, adjust my approach, and prioritize their emotional well-being every step of the way.

My goal is simple: to provide a spa experience that feels luxurious in a serene setting where dogs feel safe, respected, and cared for.

  • Getting started is easy. Reach out through the New Guest Request form, email (TheBubblyPuppyLuxuryGroomingCo@gmail.com), or send a text message to 774-415-4159 and I’ll be happy to walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

  • Before your dog's appointment, I must have proof of a current rabies vaccination on file. You are welcome to provide the vaccination information yourself via paperwork provided by your vet, or, with your express permission, I can contact your veterinarian directly to obtain the rabies expiration date for you.

I also require a signed Policies Agreement before your dog's first visit. This form can be completed electronically before your appointment, or at your appointment prior to your dog entering the salon. The policies are available for review and signature here.

Feel free to bring any items from your home which may be of comfort to your dog (a bed, blanket, toys, treats, etc.).

And, of course, don't forget to bring your dog - yes, it has actually happened before!

  • When you arrive, feel free to park in the driveway - you'll see a sign marking the designated parking area. Please call or text 774-415-4159 upon arrival, and I'll come out to personally greet you and your dog. The same process applies at pickup time.

I intentionally schedule extra time for every first visit. This allows me to get to know your dog's personality, comfort level, and individual grooming needs while giving them time to become familiar with me and their new environment at their own pace. My goal is to create a calm, positive experience from the very beginning which will carry into a lifetime of spa sessions.

The additional time also allows me to take a more gradual approach to any part of the grooming process your dog may find challenging. For example, if your dog is nervous about the dryer, nail trimming, or other aspects of grooming, I can work slowly and thoughtfully without the pressure of a busy salon environment.

Feel free to bring any items from home that may be of comfort for your dog (a bed, toy, blanket, treats, etc,).

At check-in, I will provide you with an estimated pickup time. As a one-person operation, staying on schedule is important, so a late pickup fee may apply if your dog is not picked up within 10 minutes of their scheduled pickup time. If your dog's groom is completed earlier than expected, I'll let you know beforehand, but there is never any pressure to arrive before the originally scheduled pickup time.

  • Most grooming appointments take between 1 and 4 hours, depending on your dog's size, coat type and condition, behavior, and the services being performed. Because every dog is different, I will be able to provide a more accurate time estimate after learning more about your dog's individual needs.

For first-time guests, I intentionally schedule additional time to ensure the experience is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. This allows your dog the opportunity to become familiar with me and their new environment without feeling rushed. It also gives me the flexibility to move at your dog's pace if they need extra patience, breaks, or a little additional TLC along the way.

My priority is always providing a positive grooming experience while maintaining the quality of care your dog deserves. Thoughtful grooming is mindful grooming, and should never be rushed.

  • Because every dog is unique, grooming prices are determined on an individual basis rather than a one-size-fits-all pricing model. Several factors influence the time and care required for an appointment, including your dog's size, breed, coat type and condition, grooming history, behavior, desired haircut/service, and the frequency of their grooming visits.

For this reason, I am unable to provide an exact price without learning more about your dog first. If you would like a personalized estimate, please complete the New Guest Request Form or contact me directly. Once I have a better understanding of your dog's needs, I will be happy to provide a more accurate cost estimate for their grooming appointment.

  • I use a variety of premium, professional-grade grooming products that are carefully selected based on your dog's individual coat type, skin condition, and grooming needs. My goal is to provide the best possible results while keeping your dog's skin and coat healthy and comfortable.

Some of the premium quality lines I use include Les Poochs, Schniff, Chris Christensen, Nagayu, and iGroom. Product selection may vary from dog to dog, allowing me to customize the grooming experience for each pet.

  • The sooner your puppy begins having positive grooming experiences, the better. In general, puppies can start visiting the salon shortly after they have received the vaccinations recommended by their veterinarian (rabies vaccine required).

Early puppy appointments are less about achieving a perfect haircut and more about helping your puppy become comfortable with the grooming process. These early appointments are all about setting your dog up for a lifetime of calm, comfortable, & cooperative grooming sessions. During these visits, your puppy can gradually learn that being bathed, brushed, dried, handled, and having their nails trimmed are all normal parts of life.

Starting as young as possible often helps build confidence and trust, making future grooming appointments easier and less stressful. Even breeds that require minimal grooming benefit from learning these skills early.

If you're unsure whether your puppy is ready for their first visit, feel free to reach out. I'd be happy to discuss your puppy's age, breed, and individual needs to determine the best time to get started.

  • Although I will always offer the soonest appointment availability, that varies throughout the year. I recommend booking your next appointment before leaving the salon, especially if you prefer a specific day or time. Most dog parents book out at least two appointments at a time.

  • Absolutely! Appointment reminders are sent to the phone number on file about one week before your appointment. This provides plenty of notice and gives you time to confirm your appointment or reach out if you need to make any scheduling adjustments.

  • I understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice whenever possible. This allows me the opportunity to offer the appointment time to another client.

As a courtesy, the first late cancellation or missed appointment fee will be waived. However, repeated cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice, or missed appointments without notice, may result in a fee of up to 100% of your dog's scheduled grooming service. Any outstanding fees must be paid before future appointments can be booked.

For complete details, please refer to the Cancellation & No-Show Policy.

  • No, The Bubbly Puppy operates by appointment only and does not accept walk-in visits.

Because the salon is located within a private studio of my residential home and I work one-on-one with dogs by appointment, I ask that all visits be scheduled in advance. This helps me maintain a calm, low-stress environment and ensures that each dog receives my full attention and care.

If you would like to schedule an appointment or have any questions, please fill out the New Guest Request form or text message 774-415-4159. I look forward to hearing from you and learning more about your dog!

  • If your dog has fleas, please contact me before your appointment to discuss rescheduling. As The Bubbly Puppy Luxury Grooming Co. operates from a salon within my home and there are pets on the property, maintaining a clean, safe, and parasite-free environment is essential for the health and well-being of all animals in my care.

If fleas or a other parasites are discovered during your dog's appointment, the grooming service may be discontinued immediately and you will be contacted for prompt pick-up. Applicable cancellation or service fees may apply. Before a future appointment can be scheduled, flea treatment and veterinary clearance will be required.

Ticks will be removed during the grooming process when it is safe to do so. However, if your dog has a significant tick infestation or if removal could pose a health risk, I may recommend seeking veterinary care before grooming can continue.

  • The work you do at home can make a tremendous difference in your dog's grooming experience. Regular practice and positive exposure can help your dog feel more comfortable with grooming while making appointments safer and less stressful.

Here are a few ways you can help:

Brush and comb regularly (for longer-coated dogs)
Regular coat maintenance helps prevent tangles and matting. Even if your dog's coat appears tangle-free on the surface, mats can form close to the skin. After brushing, always follow up with a Greyhound comb to ensure the coat is truly free of tangles from root to tip.

This tutorial demonstrates the technique well:

For short-coated dogs, a curry brush can be a great tool for removing loose shedding hair.

Help your dog become comfortable with new sensations
A vibrating toothbrush can be a helpful way to introduce your dog to sensations similar to grooming clippers. You can also gently touch your dog with safe household objects (a remote while you’re sitting on the couch together, a tissue or piece of fabric, a coaster, etc.) to help them become more comfortable with being handled and exposed to unfamiliar items. Always work at your dog's pace and keep these sessions positive and rewarding.

    Practice paw handling
Many dogs are uncomfortable having their feet touched. Gently handling your dog's paws and toes during calm moments can help prepare them for paw handling, nail trims, and paw pad shaving. If your dog seems stressed by this exercise, stop and reach out to me for guidance on breaking the process into smaller, more manageable steps.

Talk to me about your concerns
If there is a particular aspect of grooming that your dog struggles with, let me know. Together, we may be able to create a plan to help build confidence and make future appointments more comfortable.

Remember, grooming is a skill that many dogs need time to learn. Small, positive experiences at home can go a long way toward helping your dog feel confident and at peace during their appointments.

  • Yes, in many cases I can groom dogs who have been given a veterinarian-prescribed sedative (with the exception of acepromazine). However, I always prefer to groom without sedation whenever possible.

For your dog's safety, the medication must:

    • Be prescribed by your veterinarian.

    • Have been given successfully at least once before your appointment, with no adverse reactions.

    • Allow your dog to remain steady on their feet and able to walk normally.

If your dog appears excessively drowsy, unsteady, or unable to safely participate in the grooming process, I may need to postpone or modify the appointment. Failure to follow the steps listed above may result in me needing to refuse or stop the service; cancellation fees may apply.

If you're unsure whether your dog's medication is appropriate for grooming, please contact me before booking and I'll be happy to discuss your dog's individual needs.

  • Can I see inside the salon?

Due to insurance and safety requirements, I am unable to accommodate visitors inside the salon. However, I invite you to view photos of the grooming space on the About page.

As a private, home-based grooming salon, maintaining a calm & secure environment helps ensure the safety and comfort of both the dogs in my care and everyone on the property.
